Precious Moments Collectibles

The now very popular precious moments Collectibles has unique beginnings. Its creator is a male, Mr. Sam Butcher. When he was young, he was into drawing and reading. He was later influenced into spiritual activities and he got involved with Children,s Ministry and Christian Fellowship. A talented artist, he also made the covers on Christian Albums.

Sam never intended to make the teary eyed figures popular. He drew it and gave it to friends and relatives on occasions. But ultimately the figures became popular and found its way into greeting cards. He made it through with a partner Bill Biel.

In 1981, the dolls were produced, the Jesus Loves Me Boy and Girl Dolls.In 1990, however, Mrs. Linda Rick, a doll manufacturer, contributed femininity to the doll designs. And so Precious Moments Collectibles became extensive. There are now dolls for different occassions.”You Light Up My Life” is ideal for Christmas presents, while “Heartfelt Treasures” figurines are ideal for all special occassions.
