Pitfall Along the Way for Wrestling Stardom

Saturday, April 9th, 2011

There are always pitfalls along the way to greatness and that is the case in the development of the WWE. As if the struggle to separate from the NWA wasn’t difficult enough, the WWWF’s star wrestler, late in 1963, suffers a mild heart attack and is defeated in the ring by a young Bruno Sammartino. A new champion must be promoted and Sammartino was just the charismatic and athletic superstar the organization could have hoped for. For the next few years, until 1971, Bruno Sammartino was champion and really was the face of the WWWF. By that time, Vincent K. McMahon jr. Started taking an interest in the organization and began playing a more prominent role in the company’s day to day activities. Acting separately as promoter and broadcaster he had his hands on all aspects of the operation. By 1979 he was largely responsible for the decision to change the name to the World Wrestling Federation or WWF that we all know today. By 1982 Vince Jr. Had his eyes on a much larger prize and developed a corporate entity named Titan Sports to act as the parent company of the wrestling entity and began his ascent in the entertainment field creating wrestling superstars and adding to the branding of WWE Music and the video and merchandising field as well.

One of the features that sets TuneUp apart from other similar programs is that it does not need any song information to identify your music. It digitally listens to each song to identify it and add the correct information. This is particularly useful when you have uploaded music from CDs and forgot to add the artist and track titles. Learning the Beat Making Process

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

When you first start to consider making beat, the first thing you need to do is to listen to the work other producers do. This should be intense listening, picking up on the details.

Then, when you start, it can often help to take inspiration from your favorite artists. Try to make something that they would want to rap on. It’s important to try and make something original in the same vein, rather than trying to copy another beat maker.

When it comes to laying down beats, there are many approaches possible. One of the most useful approaches to try is to start with a basic beat, and then layer it up and build it, so that you end up with a thicker, fatter sound. Try not to overdo it, as most beat makers prefer a simple, but interesting style.

Finally, you’ll need to pay very close attention to the mixing. This is the element that tends to take longest to perfect. Aim for a clear mix, where a rapper or vocalist can fit their part in, without making it muddy or blurry. Impact is the key. You’ll want punchy bass and crisp snare, in most cases.

If you have never been to a karaoke bar before it might be time to give it a shot. There are plenty of people who you would never expect that have become fans of singing because of karaoke bars. They are rowdy places that are often filled with complete strangers but by the end of the night you will all feel like one big happy family. There will be enough room to accommodate all types of different musical tastes and crowds usually appreciate a little bit of variety anyways. Even if you don’t want to sing, all you have to do is sit back and relax while having a few drinks and enjoying the show. There really is a lot to like about going to a karaoke bar and you might find yourself rushing to get back.

One of the reasons why people are so good and singing these days is a symbiotic relationship between karaoke bars and home karaoke machines. Sometimes people become fans of singing and then rush out to buy the best karaoke system they can afford. They will practice intensely for a period of several weeks and then go back to the karaoke bar to dazzle the crowd. This interplay between personal and public appearances has led to a whole legion of people who have become hardcore karaoke fans. Some of them even try to get their children in on the act by buying them a kids karaoke machine. While you are unlikely to be able to bring your child to a karaoke bar, this is a great way to give them a taste of the activity that you have come to love. All of this means that there will be karaoke fans to keep this unique hobby going for generations to come.
